Around five hundred cows of sixteen indigenous varieties are protected here,most of them from slaughter houses in the nick of time from the butchers knife,without any financial motive.

In the contemporary media space the Trust is introducing the Fb channel named WithRoots TV.The platform is to propagate the ideas and goals of local cow based social system.
The Trust is committed to preserving the literature on traditional farming especially on cow centered farming and making it available for future generations. Will provide financial assistance for researchers in this area. The trust is providing training for students, housewives and other interested groups of society.
The Trust is planning to create self help groups all over the country to realise it’s mission with support from the central and state governments.
The Trust is making arrangements for a Pilgrim Centre of Gaumatha in Kerala. With a secular perspective, It’s door will be open to all.The initial steps have been taken in this regard at Pullad village near Aranmula in Pathanamthitta .
